Merle Trail has been practicing his artistry in taxidermy for over twenty-five years. This long experience and his exceptional creativity and meticulous attention to detail are clearly evident in each beautiful mount that comes from his studio.

Merle takes pride in his work, and his high standards result in unrivaled "Custom Sculptured Wildlife Art."  He is dedicated to achieving the true-to-life appearance of each animal. It is a point of pride for Merle that clients often comment that this is, indeed, the animal that they remember from their hunt.

Merle and Shirley Trail work as partners in the studio, with Shirley expertly assisting Merle. The Trails do not look upon their business as a commercial assembly line, but as a personalized service to their clients. Each mount is given individual attention and those little touches that seem to breathe life into every trophy.

Merle and Shirley are members of the National Taxidermists Association, Safari Club International and the National Rifle Association. Merle is a dedicated hunter with many years of worldwide experience in the field.
